וַיְהִ֣י ׀ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֗י וַיֹּאמְר֤וּ לְאֵֽשֶׁת־שִׁמְשׁוֹן֙ פַּתִּ֣י אֶת־אִישֵׁ֗ךְ וְיַגֶּד־לָ֙נוּ֙ אֶת־הַ֣חִידָ֔ה פֶּן־נִשְׂרֹ֥ף אוֹתָ֛ךְ וְאֶת־בֵּ֥ית אָבִ֖יךְ בָּאֵ֑שׁ הַלְיָרְשֵׁ֕נוּ קְרָאתֶ֥ם לָ֖נוּ הֲלֹֽא׃
Nang ikapitong araw, sinabi nila sa asawa ni Samson: “Akitin mo ang iyong asawa para sabihin niya sa amin ang sagot sa bugtong. Kung hindi, susunugin namin sa apoy ikaw at ang sambahayan ng iyong ama. Inanyayahan ba ninyo kami rito upang agawin ang aming ari-arian?”
